RANDY MONTGOMERY is an expert in business operations and works with VMC to ensure that all properties receive accurate funding on a timely basis.  His solid financial analysis and procurement background make him uniquely qualified to lead these efforts.

Mr. Montgomery joined VMC in the late 90’s and quickly became an expert in the areas of State and Municipal Subsidy procurement as well as, Community & Housing Development Organization (CHoDO) procurement.  Over the years, he has trained VMC Site Managers on the New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency’s TRACs and voucher submission programs.

Mr. Montgomery also serves as a Director for VMC where he is responsible for liaising between Site Managers, Maintenance Staff and VMC leadership.  In addition to his on-site support, Mr. Montgomery is a key player in VMC’s new business development arena where he works to identify profitable opportunities and to develop business models that meet both VMC’s and potential clients’ needs.

Prior to joining VMC, Mr. Montgomery worked as a Global Senior Analyst, specializing in mergers and acquisitions for Chase Securities.  In this capacity he developed and presented strategic M&A advice to multinational clients.  Mr. Montgomery also designed models and performed valuations in the Capital & Consumer Goods, Media, Natural Resources and Utilities industries.

As a founding partner of Black Diamonds, a professional networking and event planning organization, Mr. Montgomery brings the unique skill set of mobilizing residents and targeted vendors to support strategic partnerships and community events.

A graduate of The University of Michigan’s School of Business Administration, Mr. Montgomery currently resides in East Orange, NJ.
